The Groupˇ¦s main work is to share its experience in the digitizing calligraphy and painting, to promote the development and integration as well as practical tests of related digitization technology, and to draw up related norms and standards, in order that the project may be carried out smoothly.

Its main tasks are as follows:
1. to integrate the metadata and demands related to content analysis; ˇ@ˇ@
2. to draw up related standards and regulations; ˇ@ˇ@
3. to investigate and discuss related issues on digital archives of calligraphy and painting; ˇ@ˇ@
4. to edit Guidelines of Digital Management of Calligraphy and Painting.
