The purpose of this project is to preserve the record of Taiwan’s earthquake. In the pass, we didn’t preserve the complete records of earthquake happened in Taiwan. Therefore, the establishment of Knowledge Base of Taiwan’s earthquake is expected to accumulate the knowledge of earthquake and understand the influence of earthquake on society and economy in order to decrease the damage caused by earthquakes. It began with calling for, collecting from, and integrating with all kinds of accessible information of 921 Earthquake in Taiwan, including web-based information, digital data, news, sound, and video.
